It is very easy to apply to Richard Huish College 

If you are at a local state school:

  • Get an application from the careers teacher or Connexions
  • The school will help you with references and will send it to us
  • We will contact you to arrange an interview
  • After the interview we shall offer you a course

If you are at a private school or outside the area:

  • Contact us for an application form.  You can call us on 01823 320800 or email us.
  • Or download an application form from our website 
  • Send us your application
  • We will contact you to arrange an interview

If you are an International Student:

Basic entry requirements

You are guaranteed a place at Huish as long as you apply before the end of your GCSEs (normal application time is from January to Easter).

For an A level programme you need to achieve 5 GCSEs at C grade or above including Maths and English Language.  If you do not achieve those grades but are very close,
we can offer you a one year programme of re-sits and new GCSEs.
