Leisure Studies

If you enjoy a style of learning that incorporates investigative work into real leisure organisations and practices, then this A Level will be of interest to you.

The practical element of this course provides you with the skills to produce high-quality reports, presentations and practical demonstrations.

“I’m very glad that I chose to take this course as I have
come away from it feeling motivated to do the work
involved and enjoyed it.”

“The modules focusing on customer service and leisure in the outdoors
are not only interesting but 100% relevant to the real world.
I work in a cinema and occasionally do some outdoor
instruction (high ropes, climbing etc) and with the extra
knowledge I have gained on the Leisure Studies course
I have been able to add an extra dimension to my work
which sets me apart from others. This extra dimension
has resulted in me being recently promoted to the
position of Duty Manager at the cinema.”
