If you are creative, enjoy movement and like to learn in a practical way, then dance is the course for you!
The course will challenge your perceived notions of Dance and is designed for students that are looking to study Dance in depth
You will have a chance to develop your skills of analysis, dance appreciation, anatomy understanding, choreography, and the performance and history of Dance
Many students have gone onto dance schools after Huish and you could be one of them!
Practical sessions will involve:
Focusing on developing skills and choreography
Expanding your range of movement and creativity
The theoretical sessions will involve tasks based on your practical lessons
In these lessons you will be able to expand your ideas of choreography and performance
Trips and workshops with visiting dance companies are an integral feature of the course. You will be encouraged to develop as a choreographer and performer by participating in many public performances.
