You will study the struggle to free the Netherlands from Spanish rule, under the leadership of the House of Orange
At A2, you will investigate and criticise interpretations of Elizabeth I or Phillip II and trace the theme of England’s changing situation from 1485 to 1603. Coursework will give you the opportunity to pursue a taught topic in more depth
There are extensive opportunities for exchanging ideas through debate and discussion and a great deal of support in class, through workshops and through one-to-one sessions with an academic tutor.
