Richard Huish College is one of the best sixth form colleges in England and has been ranked in the top ten for A Level performance in the last five years. The most recent Ofsted Report (2007) considered the College to be Outstanding in all areas.
Richard Huish College has Highly Trusted Sponsor Status with the UK Border Agency to be able to recruit for Tier 4 – Students (General) under the UK Points Based System. The college is a centre of academic excellence with over 1,900 students taking three or four AS/A2 levels, Vocational A Levels or professional qualifications from a range of over 50 subjects available.
If you are interested in taking your AS/A2 levels and preparing for university, or you wish to study for a professional qualification, you can choose from one of the four main options as follows:
Option One
Two-year AS/A2 or Applied A Levels programme starting in September.
Option Two
One year A/S and Applied A/S Levels level programme starting September.
Option Three
Specialist professional accountancy courses at a range of examination levels: Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). All supported with relevant IT, EFL and Accounting workshops.
Option Four
Foundation Degree programmes in Business and Management and Sport Development and Coaching.
