EFL Support

We offer all International students help with further developing their language skills and give guidance towards appropriate forms of assessment such as IELTS/IGCSE/GCSE English.

Your existing standard of written and spoken English is assessed initially by our EFL Tutor, and students needing support will have this time allocated to them. These sessions will also include cultural support to students new to the UK.

Contact Point

Contact Point was introduced at the beginning 2008/09 for those students looking for an opportunity to make new friends and connections whilst settling into College. Everyone is welcome to come and join in.

For International and European students it offers a chance to develop and practise language skills. Your experience will be very different to other students as for most this will be your first time in the UK and with English being your second language.
