Who are we and what do we do?
The Student Council is the voice of the students
We are full-time students at college, from a range of backgrounds, with a range of interests.
We each decided that we wanted to contribute further to college life, that we wanted to stand up for students’ rights and that we were prepared to take on the responsibility of representing our student body on their behalf.
We have been elected by students as their representatives and are proud to work hard to achieve as much as possible in our year in office.
The Council aims to provide support and representation for all students in the college.
We organise various events including the Freshers’ Party, Summer ball and various conferences.
The Council is affiliated to the National of Students (NUS).
