The Business degree course is currently celebrating 10 years of delivering 100% pass rate
Students studying the BA (Hons) Leadership and Management Degree course at Richard Huish College have had the opportunity to receive professional business coaching from a master coach as part of their degree.
Currently celebrating 10 years of delivering business degrees with 100% pass rate, the Huish BA Leadership and Management degree course runs the one to one coaching programme to improve leadership skills to ultimately prepare students for the next stage in their career.
By utilising Skype, the students had one-to-one coaching sessions with Denmark based Mette Lendal, who works at Copenhagen Business School and is the co-founder of a Danish start-up app company, and previously was Vice President for Operations for Mastering Leadership Agility Ltd working on leadership development, including executive coaching.

The usually costly programme was free as an additional opportunity for the students as part of their BA studies.
Student Kirsty Fowler, from Yeovil, said; “Gaining first-hand experience of coaching, which is offered as part of the course, has provided greater insight, and has helped with my personal and professional development”.
Student Carl Stayner, from Yeovil, said; “The BA Applied Professional Studies (Leadership and Management) course held at Richard Huish College is challenging and engaging, teaching me essential management and leadership techniques that I can apply in my workplace.
