Those students include Marie Findlay (Worcester), Maude Morrison (Trinity) and Tim Williams (Somerville). Two students will study Engineering; Joe Blackmore at Wadham and Will Travis at Keble. Ed Balai will go to Magdelen to read Medicine whilst his former school peer Hattie Langley will read Classics at Corpus. Of the 16 students who have been accepted, 4 of those came from Haygrove School which is a great achievement. College Oxbridge Co-ordinator Karen Revans says: “We are delighted to see so many of our students receiving the recognition their talents and hard work deserve. We believe they will go on to future success and make a significant contribution to the wider community.”
College Principal, Dr Peter Avery says: “We are naturally delighted that such a large number of our students who wish to go on to Oxford or Cambridge will now have the opportunity to do so. 8 of our partner schools are represented in this year’s group and this success reflects well on the preparation of these young people over several years.”
