Ben successfully completed his Foundation Degree in 2011 and is going on to study for the BA in Sports Development degree at UCP, Marjon.
“I chose to study this course because I have a keen interest in coaching (particularly tennis) and I believe that the course will be a great help in developing and tuning my coaching skills and preparing me for a career in the
sport industry.
I attended Richard Huish College for my A levels and was really pleased with both the quality of the teaching and my results so was very happy to continue my studies here. Also because the course is timetabled over 3 days it gives me the rest of the week to coach and work, meaning I get the same qualifications as someone who goes away to university.
The small group size means that the teachers have more time per student which can help improve understanding and grades.”
