One of 11 England Basketball accredited AASE programmes in the country. Performance Basketball is delivered in partnership with the Taunton Tigers Basketball Club. Along with competitions in the British Colleges league, Huish Sport Performance basketball players are eligible to compete at the national level with the Taunton Tigers Boys U16 and U18 teams and/or the Men’s national Division 4 and Division 1 levels. Girls have the opportunity to represent the Tigers at the Women’s national Division 2 level. Working with highly qualified coaches, players will develop all aspects of their game over the two year programme.
Huish Sport Performance has been at the forefront of developing and delivering the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE). The AASE programme has been tailored to meet the needs of 16 to 18 year olds who have the realistic potential to achieve excellence in their chosen sport and are seeking to perform at the highest level as their main career goal.
