At Huish all Level 3 students enrol on a Study Programme, which consists of a core of three A Levels, three Vocational Extended Certificates, a mixture of three A Levels and Vocational Extended Certificates or a Vocational Extended Diploma.
In addition, students will participate in further holistic development such as another A Level, a Vocational Extended Certificate, Directed Study Time, Enrichment activities, smaller qualifications or Core Maths. All Level Three Courses including A Level and Vocational Level 3 courses are two year programmes.
From 2015 Linear A Levels are no longer modular and as such, at Richard Huish College, there will no longer be an AS qualification available alongside any of our A Level courses. Linear A Levels are designed to be more demanding and with greater subject depth, this depth of study will enable students to have an improved understanding of the subject and be more skilled and better prepared for university and employment.
