I just wanted to say thank you to you all for getting me my qualification. I’m very happy with where I’ve got to and feel like I’ve learnt so much in the past few years. If I do another course I wouldn’t hesitate to use Richard Huish.

Good Mathematics and English skills are desired in a great range of job roles and we can help you to improve in these areas and to gain a Functional Skills qualification to evidence your competency to employers. Level 2 Functional Skills is commonly recognised as an equivalent for GCSE grades.

If needed, Apprentices may have Functional Skills included as part of their Individual Learning Plan, alternatively Adult Learners (those aged 19 years+) can take a qualification as a stand alone course.

Please note, these courses are not for students looking to join the Richard Huish College Sixth Form that may be missing the entry requirements, the College offers GCSE Maths and English resit opportunities for school leavers – for more information please contact admissions2@richuish.ac.uk.

If you do not already hold a relevant GCSE Grade to the level you study than qualifications may be fully funded.
