Vocational Business students at Richard Huish College are organising a Christmas themed event to raise awareness and funds for local charity MIND who support individuals with Mental Health concerns.

Challenging their peers and staff to take part in the Huish Christmas Bake Off the students have requested a donation of £2 for every cake entered. Participants will bake their Christmas themed cakes at home before having them judged blind by Principal, John Abbott on 9th December. The cakes will be judged on three elements, creativity, theme and taste with three great prizes up for grabs.

The first place prize is 2 adult tickets to watch a Somerset Cricket match, the second place prize is a £20 voucher for Silver Pantry and the third place prize is the famous Huish Bake Off apron!

Further details of the event can be found in our event listings. If you wish to enter please email 2018shierb@richuish.ac.uk by 4pm December 1st.
