Results Days

These will take place on:

  • Tuesday 10th August for all Level 3 qualifications (A Level, EPQ, Core Maths, L3 Vocational)
  • Thursday 12th August for all Level 2 qualifications (GCSE, L2 Vocational)

Due to continued Covid uncertainty, students will not need to attend College in person on these dates to receive their results and will be able to access these via the Huish Hub. Nevertheless, as always, expert staff will be on hand to provide any additional support, as detailed below.

This year, students will be able to access their results from 8.30am via the Huish Hub and have been advised of the following – “Please go to ‘My Exam Results’ in your modules box, where your results will be displayed in the bottom half of the screen under ‘Examination Results’.

If a student has forgotten their password, they will need to contact the IT Helpdesk to have it reset. You can do this by ringing 01823 320854 or emailing
You will need to provide your name, username, DOB and postcode so that we can verify your details and reset the password for your account.

Results Support

We very much hope that results day is a positive one for all our students. However, as in any year, there may be some individuals who are disappointed with one or more of their results or are concerned about the implications of their grades in relation to their next steps. There will be expert staff on hand to support Huish students, providing UCAS or guidance, appeals information, and guidance about additional Autumn Exam assessment opportunities. If students or their parents/carers require help on results day or beyond, they should contact the College Reception, who will put them in touch with the member of staff best placed to provide support.

Please be reassured that we have taken huge care to follow the JCQ guidance to determine student results this year, which has included a number of robust stages of internal and external quality assurance at both course and Centre level, as well as through external Exam Board sampling. It is however important that all students understand that they have the right to appeal their result with the relevant Exam Board, if they believe there has been one of the JCQ qualifying grounds for appeal.

To ensure that students and their families are fully informed about this process, we have produced a summary document, which includes all of the relevant information regarding the appeals process and which can be accessed at

Please be aware there are very tight national deadlines for the turnaround of appeals, which are detailed in the document referenced above. We would therefore advise students, parents and carers to take care to read the document closely, should they find themselves in a position where they wish to consider appealing a result.

Autumn Exams Series

In line with last year, there will be the opportunity for those students who wish to further improve their result to take an Autumn Exam. If this is of interest to students after receiving their grades this summer, they should email and our Exams Team will be able to guide them through the process. The deadline to apply for an Autumn Exam will be 3rd September 2021.

Exam Certificates

Please be aware that it takes some time for the College to receive certificates from the Awarding Bodies. Certificates will be available for collection from Reception from around December onwards.
