EARLY YEARS WORKFORCE DIPLOMA

This qualification can support anyone working in a nursery or early years setting as with children from birth to 5 years old.

In your role you should be working to deliver to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements under the supervision of a Nursery Manager.

Your duties may vary depending on the setting but could include;

• planning and supervising child initiated and adult led activities which are based around the needs and interests of each individual child
• supporting children to develop numeracy and language skills
• key person responsibility
• supporting care needs such as feeding, changing and administering medicine.
