Overview

If you are interested in antenatal care, babies, and the health and wellbeing of expectant mothers, this course will provide you with the knowledge and clinical skills needed to support Midwives and assist with the care of mothers and babies.

If you want to  become  a midwife, nurse or ODP, this course will give you an insight into the knowledge and skills needed.

Individuals undertaking this course will work in providing assistance to Midwives and other health care professionals.

You will be looking after the comfort and wellbeing of mothers and babies. You may work in a variety of settings including clinics, hospitals or in individuals homes.

This apprenticeship will take about 18-24 months to complete. To begin the apprenticeship you will need to be a minimum of 18 years old.
