First Year Law student Daisy Kamsner recently took part in the Big Voice London’s ‘Model Law Commission Report’ event held at Portcullis House.

The Model Law Commission Report is a three-month-long project that provides A Level students with the opportunity to simulate the work of the Law Commission, undertaking a five-stage process of research, formulating recommendations, consulting with their peers, reporting on their proposals, and devising their legislation.

Experts in the field come from all across the country to introduce the students to their respective topics at a conference in London.

The students are also visited by individuals from the Law Commission who advise them on the difficulties in reforming the law and how to write a law reform report.

At the recent event, students presented their Law reform ideas. You can watch their presentation on YouTube (Daisy features at 1 hour 17 minutes).
