Ten students of the Richard Huish College Debating Society recently took part in a Model United Nations competition hosted at Queen’s College, Taunton.

The day involved a high-level discussion and debate on issues facing the world today, ranging from the humanitarian cost of sanctions and territorial disputes in the South China Sea to antibiotic resistivity, and sulphate injection as a method of Geo-engineering.

Congratulations go to Eve Wood and Fin Stein who were awarded ‘commended’ and ‘highly commended’ delegates respectively.
