Richard Huish College hosted a Careers Fair this week specifically for Vocational Business students.

Whilst the College provides an extensive Careers and Progression programme for all students, this tailored event gave the students an additional opportunity to meet with local employers and enquire about the various elements of their businesses. Representatives from Somerset County Council, the Army and Accountancy firms A C Mole and Lentells, were all in attendance alongside Huish Apprenticeships and Huish Careers service.

In timetabled groups the students seized the chance to ask probing questions and find out about future work experience opportunities and vacancies. Vocational Business students progress on to a great variety of pathways, from University and Sponsored Degrees to Apprenticeships, or direct employment.
