Students up and down the country collected their results yesterday, including Richard Huish College student Emily Bridges who received the highest grade in the country for Photography A Level.
The former Haygrove School student received an A* for the subject after achieving an impressive 200 out of 200 for her final mark. Along with this amazing achievement Emily also received an A in English Literature, B in History and A* her EPQ. She achieved these grades whilst also playing Netball as a part of the College’s Enrichment programme.
Speaking on her success Emily said: “I’m overwhelmed, I just can’t believe it. I didn’t do Photography at GCSE and it was just a hobby at first, so it was all very new but I really enjoyed studying it at Huish.”
Emily will now progress to the University of Cardiff where she will read Ancient History and Archaeology.
