Richard Huish College ran its first EnRICH Day of the academic year on Friday 4th October with a wide range of external trips and activities on offer to students.

The Huish EnRICH programme aims to help students with their life skills, progression & employability, health & wellbeing and giving back to community & charity. Whilst students can partake in EnRICH activities all year round, the EnRICH day sees the collapse of the usual college timetable to give students an additional opportunity to form new friendships and experiment with new interests that they may not otherwise explore.

The below film shows a selection of some of the activities on offer.

Alongside activities on campus which included Film Making, Astrophysics, a variety of craft workshops, Taskmaster challenges, and much more, there were also trips off campus available. Students enjoyed Surfing, a few rounds of Golf at the Vivary Park Golf Club, Geocaching and many more exploration adventures.

Huish runs the EnRICH Day event twice a year, with the next one taking place 26th June.
