Richard Huish College hosted a Careers Fair specifically for Business, Marketing and Management students.

Whilst the College provides an extensive Careers and Progression programme for all students, this tailored event offered students an additional opportunity to meet with local employers and enquire about the various elements of their businesses.

Representatives from businesses including the Taunton Chamber of Commerce, Albert Goodman, the RAF and many more, were all in attendance alongside Huish Apprenticeships and Huish Careers service.

Students seized the chance to ask probing questions and find out about future work experience opportunities and vacancies. Business students progress on to a variety of pathways, from University and Sponsored Degrees to Apprenticeships, or direct employment.

Kim Fielder, an exhibitor at the event from Lambtrad Ltd, commented “The event was very well organised, and it was a great opportunity to give the students some further information around the career opportunities and apprenticeships we are able to offer within our business”.
