Eight students from Richard Huish College’s Debating Society took part in the Oxford Schools Debating Competition.
The heats took place online for the third year running and resulted in some spirited debating on the topics of a belief in life after death and the arguments surrounding government-funded aid to countries with dubious records of human rights.
All teams made extraordinary contributions and Year 12 students Jasmine Fowler and Isabella Peach successfully qualified for the finals that will be held in the Oxford University Student Union on the 11th of March.
