Class of 2018
Graduates from Richard Huish College donned gowns and graduation caps in celebration of formally achieving degree and professional accountancy qualifications.
The hard work and commitment of 31 Huish students was recognised at the formal graduation ceremony on Saturday 15th September. Family and friends joined the graduates to celebrate their achievement of Higher Education courses including: Foundation Degree in Business & Management, BA (Hons) Applied Professional Studies (Leadership and Management), BA (Hons) Sports Development and Coaching and Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
Professor Rob Warner, Vice Chancellor at Plymouth Marjon University, Huish Principal John Abbott and Duncan Alexander, Chair of Governors, addressed the congregation in the Main Hall at the College. Graduates marched in to Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance and were presented with their scrolls in the grandly set up hall at the College.
Principal John Abbott said: “We were delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Higher Education students who have worked so hard for their qualifications. Richard Huish College has worked with professional bodies such as AAT for more than a decade and our partnership with Plymouth Marjon University has resulted in many students enjoying professional development through their studies with us.”
