The Richard Huish College Men’s Hockey team have continued their fine form this season as they progress to the semi-finals of the Association of Colleges (AoC) National Cup.

The result builds on an already fine campaign from the Men’s team after they qualified for the upcoming National Championships in Nottingham whilst also going well in their league campaign, where they are battling for the league title. The boys have also overcome strong opposition in the England Hockey National cup to progress to the next round.

However, their most recent success has been in the AoC National Cup played against similar FE and Sixth Form Colleges from across the country. Their recent success against Hereford College saw the boy’s progress to the final eight where they met Worcester College. They made the long journey worth it as Huish returned home with the semi-final spot after beating Worcester 7-2 to take their place in the semi-finals of the National Cup. They will now face Peter Symonds College at home on the 14th March 2018.
