Need help finding employment?
Finding a job can be tough, especially these days if you don't have much work experience. Often employers want people with experience but how do you get this if you can't find work?
Richard Huish College are currently enrolling for their next Traineeship Programme which commences on 28th February 2019. Traineeships are a new opportunity for young people to gain real life work experience and the training needed to progress into an apprenticeship or start work.
Students receive professional support from a mentor who will help them develop their CV, interview skills and confidence. Students also complete a top quality work placement with a local business for six weeks to get real work experience, with the content tailored to their individual career aspirations.
The 15 week course is open to young adults aged 16-24 who are unemployed and do not currently hold a Level 3 qualification.
Emma Reynolds who completed a Traineeship at Huish commented “As a result of me doing the course I now have the ability to attend and be successful in interviews and have now been offered a job within the sector I wanted. I think the course is ran really well and I've enjoyed working with Leanna who has helped me a lot with many aspects."
