As part of Stoptober, Richard Huish College is moving towards a smoke-free campus with all smokers being encouraged to consider accessing support to quit smoking.

All tobacco products will be banned from campus with immediate effect but throughout Stoptober, vaping which is a recognised tool to help people quit smoking, will remain allowed within the designated vaping area.

From 31st October, both smoking and vaping will be banned across the entire campus. Students and staff have been reminded to be respectful of the neighbouring areas and to be mindful of the health and wellbeing of the community.
