Recently, seventeen Lower Sixth Biology students at Richard Huish College took part in the Intermediate Biology Olympiad competition which saw over 8,000 students from 449 different schools across the globe participate.

The competition was very tough and only those in the top 5% of all competitors would win the gold medal. A huge congratulations on a remarkable achievement to Huish students’ Charlotte Vile and Louisa Wall who both managed to pick up the Gold Award.

The College also had six students pick up Bronze Awards (Ollie Henden, Dylan Simpson, Kris Bourne, Freya Davidson, Milly Cook and Sam Frost), two students highly commended (Olivia Wade and Johannah Matthew) and three students commended (Nikki Pak, Tresha Kumar and Tanner Tan) in the competition.
