Sophie Groves talks about the ACCA course

I studied ACCA at Richard Huish College for over 3 years and qualified in early 2017. Studying ACCA was the next path for me after AAT, as I wanted to progress in my career and achieve another professional qualification in accountancy.

It was great to have a local provider of ACCA and I chose to study at Huish as my colleagues had also studied there and I knew they had an excellent pass rate.

The lessons were in the afternoon which was great for day/afternoon release from work. The lecturers were so friendly, professional and knowledgeable; always willing to stay after the lesson finished to answer any questions and always contactable via email during the week.

The lecturers adapted their annual schedule to accompany the exams we as a group wanted to achieve according to ACCA's exam sittings, which really benefited our study time and we were able to pass the exams at a quicker pace than originally anticipated.

It was great to meet other adult students who work full time and attend day release and I have developed some great friendships as a result of my studies at Huish.
