This December, students and staff at Richard Huish College got creative with a festive window dressing competition to spread some Christmas cheer. There were a number of spectacular entries but the Golden Reindeer Award for 2020 went to the Childcare and Education students.
As part of their course, the group of Upper Sixth students have been studying how to support children’s development in Literacy and Mathematics. For their display they created an A-Z of Christmas and a Christmas count to 20, focusing on bright and colourful designs that would attract children’s attention and assist with early learning goals in the Early Years Foundation stage.
Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all those who helped decorate our campus. Below are a small selection of the entries.
