A number of students have contacted us to ask if it is possible to come in and use the study space in College over the summer. We are aware that working from home has been a challenge and some students would benefit from a more structured environment.
We are pleased to be able to make W12 available as a staffed study area from the week commencing Monday 10th August until Friday 21st August, 10am-3pm for current Huish students.
There is no need to book, simply arrive at Reception (which is temporarily based in Willow Cafe) anytime between 10am and 3pm on the given dates. It will be very informal and you can stay as long as you would like each day.
Please make sure you bring any refreshments as there are no facilities open on site.
Whilst this provision is available to all students we would like to highlight this resource to those who have perhaps fallen behind and have targets to meet for September. This area will be staffed by Liam Edwards who will be on hand to help with study skills, progression advice and preparation for returning in September.
Please be reassured we have made the necessary arrangements to keep you safe while you are here and adhere to government guidelines.
We really hope some of you will take advantage of this and look forward to seeing you.
