Huish would like to say a huge thank you to our community of parents and carers who provided donations to Young Minds this past Christmas.
Unable to support and raise funds for charities in our usual way in 2020, Principal Emma Fielding wrote to parents/carers and invited them, should they so wish, to make a donation to the charity and leave a short message for the Huish staff at the end of a challenging term.
The response was fantastic and the community raised over £800 for Young Minds to support young people with their mental health. The comments received were equally tremendous and extremely appreciated by our staff. We are very grateful to be surrounded by so many people ready to support our students, staff and one another with their wellbeing.
