Join Our National Network Sessions

The Huish Centre is supporting a national network of year-long, themed joint professional development (collaborative action research).

Colleagues as individuals, departments or whole schools are guided through a journey of professional collaboration around chosen development themes which include:

  • Input on the theory and practice of joint professional development
  • Expert input on the theme and a guided literature review
  • Support for inquiry and the development of a research question
  • Collaboration through dialogue with colleagues and support for evaluation (including peer review and evaluation if required).

Duration: 3 terms (6 sessions).

Cost: £350-£1500 per school (according to size and number of staff participating).

Colleagues as individuals, departments or whole schools are guided through a journey of professional collaboration in the Huish Centre and online around a chosen development theme which includes:

  • Input on the theory and practice of joint professional development
  • Expert input on the theme and a guided literature review
  • Support for inquiry and the development of a research question
  • Collaboration through dialogue with colleagues and support for evaluation (with optional support for Camtree digital library submission).

Duration: 3 terms (6 sessions).

Cost: £350-£1500 per school (according to size and number of staff participating).

Trust & Institution Development

The Huish Centre aims to support colleagues in trust central teams, and institutional leaders (primary, secondary and FE), to develop a richer approach to ‘in house’ professional development which is:

  • Student centric
  • Supported by a conscious culture of listening
  • Built on a robust foundational framework
  • Evolved through teacher led research and development.
