Richard Huish Education Group

Richard Huish Education Group is a group of educational organisations that spans primary, secondary and further education committed to delivering exceptional education.

The organisations work closely together in order to provide a wide range of opportunities to ensure that every student maximises their potential and develop aspirations beyond their expectations. All our organisations are guided by a set of core values that clearly set out the expectations for members of our community including our Church Schools.

The ambition is for every organisation within the group to retain their individual autonomy in order that they can best serve their local communities whilst also benefiting from the collective advantages of working closely with other like-minded partners.

Richard Huish Education Group has a clear vision to provide exceptional education and training through the delivery of a holistic and vocational curriculum. Overseen by the College, the organisation is uniquely placed to enable young people’s progression throughout their school career and beyond into further or higher education, training and employment.

Richard Huish Education Group aims to nurture the individuality of its member schools, identifying the areas of strength and distinctive features of the local community in order to promote sustainable improvement. The Multi Academy Trust (MAT) model offers a school the potential to retain its unique characteristics and to maintain its own local Governing Body; this model also offers Head Teachers a high degree of autonomy in the work of leading their schools, with the freedom to focus on teaching and learning.
