EnRICH day: what a great chance for students to have some fun, try something new and get to know their classmates better!
Year 1 students have been on campus taking part in a carousel of three sessions:
- Huish Taskmaster, with tasks including inventing a team handshake, recreating an album cover and coming up with a friendly football chant
- The BIG Huish Quiz
- The People’s Briefing (gaining insights into the climate and nature crisis – and learning why it’s important for us to reduce our impact)
Meanwhile, Year 2s chose from the following activities:
- Learning to Surf in North Devon
- Rounders Tournament
- Football on the 3G
- Bridgwater Cinema Trip
- Tenpin Bowling Championship
- Beach Trip to Lyme Regis
- University of Plymouth Visit
Students and staff were also able to enjoy music and a BBQ on Willow Green at lunch!
We hope everyone enjoyed taking a step beyond the classroom. Thank you to everyone who helped organise and lead the activities – what a great start to the week it’s been.
