CareerFest: Thursday 26th June 2025

A festival-themed careers day to connect Huish students with diverse career and progression opportunities.

Running from 9.00am until 2.30pm, the event will include:

• A careers fair in the sports hall with over 70 employers and universities
• An employer panel in the Huish theatre hosted by Taunton Chamber of Commerce
• ‘Your Future’ talk from the University of Exeter
• 20-minute ‘mini talks’ on subjects including CV writing, apprenticeships, volunteering abroad and choosing your university
• Independent careers advisers
• A photo booth
• Ice cream and doughnut vans
• Live magic
• DJ
• Caricature artist
• Games
• The Huish tiger!
