Toby Hallett, a current Huish student, has successfully secured a coveted Project Management apprenticeship at Ridge and Partners LLP, a leading built environment consultancy. Offered after a six-stage application process, the degree apprenticeship is a part of Ridge’s RICS Project Management Pathway and will lead to a qualification in Chartered Surveying.

Toby, a former Haygrove School pupil, is currently studying A Levels in Business and Physical Education, an Extended Certificate in Information Technology, and a Core Maths Certificate in Quantitative Reasoning.

Driven by a longstanding interest in the built environment, Toby applied for the Bristol-based apprenticeship with the hope of becoming a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor and Property Manager who works on large projects across the UK and globally.

Reflecting on his time at Huish so far, Toby commented: “Huish has offered me a strong balance between academic studies and sporting commitments. The college provides me with opportunities to talk about my potential career options, and staff have helped guide me towards my chosen career path with Ridge.”

Due to start his apprenticeship in September, we wish Toby all the best at Ridge and in his future endeavours in the built environment sector!
