This free online course is ideal for adults working in care settings wishing to further their personal and professional development. Complete the online resources to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
This qualification enhances customer service in healthcare, which will support you when you are dealing with residents, families, patients and internal and external customers within a Health and Social Care environment.
This course will help you improve patient, family and customer experience; gain positive working relationships; improve your skills in service delivery; and increase your service standards.
You will learn about the following topics:
- preparing to deliver customer service in health and social care settings
- effective communication for health and social care
- understanding the specific needs of customers and patients accessing health and social care services
- team work in health and social care settings
How quickly you progress is up to you but typically learners take approximately 12-16 weeks to complete the qualification using the online resources.

The qualification will be fully funded (free to you) if you meet the following criteria:
- You must be aged 19 years or over at the beginning of the academic year
- You must permanently reside in the UK
- You must have lived in the EU/UK for 3 years
- You must earn less than £25,000 per annum
