Students who have completed their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards have been invited to a celebratory garden party at Buckingham Palace.
Held next month, the event celebrates the outstanding achievements of young people who have completed the award’s five key sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skill, Expedition and Residential.
The Gold Award takes at least a year to complete for students who have already received the Silver Award, or eighteen months for those students that haven’t – so it takes time, commitment and hard work!
