Richard Huish College is celebrating a remarkable month of musical achievement as its talented students showcased their skills across a variety of high-profile events and initiatives.

In the past fortnight alone, Huish bands have:

  • Performed at the popular local music festival TestFest, captivating audiences with their original compositions and dynamic stage presence.
  • Taken their music on the road with the innovative Gig on a Lorry tour, performing live at secondary schools across the region to inspire the next generation of musicians.
  • Gained invaluable industry experience as part of the AV crew at Glastonbury Festival, working behind the scenes on the iconic Woodsies Stage.

To cap off this incredible month, Huish will host its final gig of the tear on Thursday, July 3rd at CICCIC (Creative Innovation Centre, Taunton). The event promises an eclectic evening of music, from jazz to rock, featuring performances by:

  • Stella Collective
  • Reload
  • Alec
  • Maddy Cooper Band
  • Wind Ensemble
  • Soy Sauce Frog
  • Alex Gratwick

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the show starting at 7.00pm. Tickets are available in advance (£10/£8 students) or on the door (£12/£10 students).
